What's the best shampoo for thinning hair?
Hair Loss Prevention Shampoo Plus is the one we recommend to most customers. It's an everyday shampoo that cleans without disturbing the scalp's balance and helps hair look fuller. If you dye your hair, choose Hair Loss & Colors Shampoo Plus instead; if it's fine and lies flat, Volume Therapy Shampoo Plus; and if it also seems weak or dull, Hair Nutrient Royal Jelly Shampoo Plus.
Is there minoxidil or any other medicine in these products?
No. Everything in this range is a dermocosmetic product, and none of it contains minoxidil or any other pharmaceutical ingredient. These products are made to look after the scalp and hair, not to treat a condition. If you're using something prescribed by your GP or a specialist, you can use them alongside it as part of your daily care; if in doubt, check with your doctor.
How long before I see a difference?
Hair changes slowly, so sticking with it matters more than doing a lot at once. Most people notice their hair looking fuller and more resilient after about 60–90 days of daily use, and that is why our intensive care is planned around 90-day cycles.
Can I use these products if I'm thinning at the crown and hairline?
Thinning in a pattern at the crown and hairline is something a doctor or trichologist should assess. Our dermocosmetic products look after the scalp and hair rather than treating any condition, and plenty of people use them alongside the plan their specialist has recommended. Do I really need more than one product?
As a minimum, we'd suggest two: a shampoo to prepare the scalp and a leave-in scalp treatment to concentrate the actives at the roots. If you'd like a more intensive 90-day boost, single-dose strips can be added on top. For help putting the right combination together, ask for a free Hair Clinic analysis.
